Sumario:The article presents a five-year program related to college teaching which was joined by 33 universities and colleges in the United States. The program was announced by the O. C. Carmichael, president of the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. It will be financed by the Carnegie Corporation of New York and by other cooperating institutions. University centers have been arranged in several universities and colleges in Atlanta, Nashville, North Carolina, and New Orleans. Information on the grouping of schools from different states is provided.
