The methodology of the research is to apply dialectical, analytical methods for studying the diversity of genres, the technique of performing the Ukrainian graphic of the twentieth century; functional-instrumental was used for research, in the conditions of dynamic interconnection of established traditional artistic motifs and new graphic means, the embodiment of the aesthetics of the image in Ukrainian graphic art. The scientific novelty consists in the fact that the features of the aesthetic expressiveness of Ukrainian graphic art in the twentieth century have been studied in depth. Conclusions As a result of the study, it was concluded that the new outlook of the early twentieth century. contributed to a special interest in graphic art and the manifestations of his aesthetic expression. The masters of the cultural and historical epoch of modernism saw in the graphic arts industry with broad possibilities of plastic artistic language, conducive to finding complicated conditionality of figurative solutions, communication of art with real reality, a new synthesis of Western European art trends and national peculiarities of the artistic process. It has been established that domestic graphics as an artistic and artistic phenomenon are objectified in multi-genre manifestations of easel, book, magazine, theatrical and industrial graphics, exlibris, posters, drawings, etc.) and pluralism of artistic styles and artistic trends.
