| Sumario: | Objective: This study was carried out to examine the attitudes of health personnel on their gender roles and the factors that affect them. Method: The universe of this descriptive and crosssectional study was made up of health staff working in the Central Anatolia region. No sampling process was employed; instead, a total of 284 health professionals who volunteered to participate were included in the study. The data were collected by means of a questionnaire form developed by the researcher and Gender Roles Attitude Scale, and evaluated using numbers, percentages, independent t test and one way analysis of variance significance test (95% confidence interval, level of significance, p<0.05). Results: The results obtained from the research revealed that the mean total score achieved by the health personnel was 111.44±9.01 points. There was no statistically significant difference between gender, marital status, educational status, family type, place of residence and occupation and gender attitudes of the health personnel participating in the research. Conclusion: In this study it was found that the health professionals had equalitarian gender roie attidues. Amaç: Bu çalışma, sağlık personelinin toplumsal cinsiyet rollerine ilişkin tutumları ve etkileyen faktörlerin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel nitelikteki çalışmanın evrenini, İç Anadolu Bölgesindeki bir ilde çalışan sağlık personeli oluşturmuştur. Örneklem seçimine gidilmemiş, çalışmaya katılmayı kabul eden 284 sağlık personeline ulaşılmıştır. Veriler araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen tanıtıcı bilgi formu ve "Toplumsal Cinsiyet Rolleri Tutum Ölçeği" kullanılarak toplanmış veriler sayı, yüzde, independent t testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir (%95 güven aralığı, önem düzeyi p<0,05). Bulgular: Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular sağlık personelinin toplam puan ortalaması 111,44±9,01 olduğu belirlenmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan sağlık personelinin cinsiyet, medeni durum, eğitim durumu, aile tipi, yaşadığı yer ve mesleği ve toplumsal cinsiyet tutumları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark saptanmamıştır. Sonuç: Bu çalışmada, sağlık personelinin eşitlikçi tutuma sahip oldukları belirlenmiştir. |
