| Sumario: | The article discusses the question of human rights in cyberspace. In this article, the author elaborates the context of cyber rape as an example. She cited the various ways in which harm occurs in connection with the use of the Internet. These include breaches of privacy, failure to protect privacy, defamation, racial vilification or hate speech, cyberstalking, sex discrimination and question of access to the Internet. According to her, these types of harm are not adequately addressed by both domestic and international law. She claimed that the failure of international law to prevent the harm caused by the Internet may indicate that it can be perpetrated by individuals without state involvement.
