| Sumario: | The purpose of this research is the historical and philosophical study of discursive strategies of understanding the subject. The authors analyze the discourse of the subject as a linguistic resource and a resource of ideological struggle. On the basis of discursive analytics and general provisions of historical and philosophical science, modern epistemological strategies of the subject’s study in classical and post-classical philosophy have been traced. The authors considered the necessity of studying the subject in the narrative dimension, in particular, it is shown that the structures that form the subject construct are verifi ed in linguistic terms and are understood respectively as the structure and stage of the narrative. Nevertheless, the authors fi nd it necessary to go beyond the boundaries of the linguistic matrix to the modern repressive society, which transforms and suppresses the desire of the subject.
