Sumario:The article reveals unrealized intentions of modern study of the subject, which were contained in the philosophy of Michel Foucault. Complex methodology blending psychoanalysis with Lacan’s structuralism, Deleuze’s Marxism, and Derridean interpretation of Heidegger sustained the reconstruction of Foucault’s idea of subject, and allowed to conclude that the change in status and the recovery of the subject is not separated from the general trend of the shift towards ontological foundation of human presence in the world in the context of the new problem-solving of power-knowledge and the principle of “self-care”. Foucault’s thinking subject is basically conditioned by the strategy of resistance, drawn by the hope of liberation through the means of either revolutionary and critical deconstruction of the power structures or elaboration of adequate forms of self-consciousness (philosophy).
