In Kharkiv, one of the strongest platforms of the Democratic platform operated. The article deals with the formation of Kharkiv organization of the Democratic platform. When writing the article, the task was to determine the reasons for the emergence of the Democratic Platform in the CPU, to find out the specifics of the activities of the Democratic Platform in Kharkiv. As a result of the study, an important role of the Kharkiv organization of the Democratic Platform in the conduct of the republican conference of the DP was established.
