Sumario:The article reports about the "Shroud of Turin" which seems to be a burial shroud of linen woven in a herringbone pattern, bearing the front and back images of crucified Jesus Christ. Topics include Giulio Fanti, professor of mechanical and thermal measurement, performing a battery test on the threads which he believed were cut from the Shroud; and evaluation of the Shroud in the concentration of particular substances contained in the cellulose of the linen fibers.
