Tendriakov, V. Zhuravsky and A. Ilichevsky. A common theme integrates these texts. The works tell about the Holodomor of 1932–1933 in Ukraine. It is found that the existential dimensions in these texts are similar, because the characters live in similar circumstances and experience similar situations; The Soviet government, through its activists, takes away the grain and everything that is eaten in order for the peasants to obey the new system and go to the collective farms. Similar circumstances experienced by the characters create an artistic picture of the world in texts where such existentials scale up as fear, hunger, death; there are depicted typical images of time — hungry people, dying, dead. Writers are drawn to the category of memory, which is intended to record a tragic life, so that nothing happens in the future. All texts are documented. For all authors the biographical factor is important. V. Zhuravsky saw the Holodomor in Ukraine as a child, V. Tendryakov also saw a child starving and starving to death in Siberia, at one of the railway stations near his native settlement, which brought Ukrainian rebellious peasants who refused to go to collective farms. A. Ilichevsky — representative of the younger generation, he builds his story based on one of the stories of a woman who survived the Holodomor, miraculously survived, did not die. Each work psychologically motivates the behavior, thoughts of the characters, The authors deliberately emphasize that the texts are built on real events. Writers seek to bring the history of collectivization, its tragic consequences, to generations to come. To draw attention to the events described, the authors use first-person storytelling. This shortens the distance between the writer and the reader. We understand that the purpose of the authors is to evoke a sense of catharsis, an understanding of the realities of Ukrainian history. In a speech to V. Tendriakov’s book, Academician V. Goldansky writes that he saw similar squares, like V. Tendriakov’s, in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg — T. K.) at the Vitebsk railway station, where he saw died of starvation on the square. they were peasants from Ukraine. There were a lot of them. V. Zhuravsky completes his story with epigraphs that work to deepen the impression of the work, giving titles to sections that reflect events in chronology. In the works, the authors actively involve concepts such as time and space in order to show the scale of the dead in the Holodomor, and their number is millions. Together with other works of this subject, the texts of V. Tendriakov, V. Zhuravsky and A. Ilichevsky make a wide panorama of events of 1932–1933 in Ukraine, reflected in the artistic word.
