Sumario:	The article focuses on principle of subsidiarity for sustainable development in Church-State relationship in Nigeria. It mentions danger of corruption and the reason why corruption should be considered a state crime is that it leads to excruciating poverty. It also mentions ethnic and religious conflicts are veritable causes of poverty in Nigeria and police brutality, and other instances of social injustice and dysfunction that hamper the fight against poverty and underdevelopment in Nigeria.
