| Sumario: | The study is aimed at establishing the essential characteristics and clear definitions of different types of domestic violence. It has been found that phenomena such as rebellion, armed insurgency, coup d’etat, a military coup, putsch, pronunciamento provoke reformatting of power structures, individual elements of the political system, however, it doesn’t lead to radical changes in it. It is revealed that spontaneity, mass, organization and openness are the essential characteristics that distinguish these types of domestic armed violence. The task is to continue the terminological analysis of such phenomena as: civil war and revolution.
