El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo una lectura crítica de algunos pasajes del Diálogo de la fe con el sultán de los turcos de Jorge Ameruzes de Trebisonda, en los que el autor caracteriza el conocimiento teológico y presenta una prueba physica ratione. A partir de dicha lectura, se expone, en primer lugar (1), la caracterización que hace Ameruzes de los principios del conocimiento teológico, en oposición a los principios naturales.
