Currently, there is no standard approach to cultural competence training (Shen, 2015). The current study examines data from a national survey of interdisciplinary trainees (n = 114) from graduate-level neurodevelopmental disabilities leadership programs from across the country. The results suggested that the leadership programs did include a range of cultural competence content and instructional methods, yet participants desired even more content than they received.
