Through a systematic interpretive discursive analysis of a sample of Traditional and Non-traditional religious Eulogies, this article figures out how the juxtaposition of new and old contexts and use of Pop and Hip-Hop genres provides discursive opportunities for the Iranian younger generation to express their version of national/cultural tendencies and to articulate both Shi'a Iranian and global identities simultaneously.
