Sumario:The study aims at elaborating a structural model of marital quality based on secure attachment style with the mediating role of self-compassion, resilience, and dyadic perspective-taking. It was a correlational study with structural equation modeling. The population included couples referring to the cultural centers of 22 districts of Tehran, Iran, among whom, 300 were selected using cluster sampling. The results indicated that secure attachment style, self-compassion, resilience, and dyadic perspective-taking have a significant direct effect on the quality of marriage (p≤0.05), and self-compassion, resilience, and dyadic perspective-taking play a mediating role in the relationship between secure attachment and marital quality.
