Sumario:From the end of 1230 until half of 1270, Albertus Magnus was at the service of science in different places - in the houses of study of the Dominicans in the province of Teutonia, at the University of Paris and at the Dominican Studium Generale in Cologne. Belonging to the elite of his time, he educated a large number of students in all three locations. Only a handful of his students are still known to us, either by name or work. The main purpose of this article is to shed more light on Alberto's master-student relationships. In particular, its objective is to clarify Alberto's vision of the perfect student in more detail, portray his historically traceable masterstudent relationships, and revisit the interpersonal as well as scientific relationship between Alberto and his two most famous students, The Aquinate and Ulrico of Strasbourg. In the appendix to the article, a provisional list of Albertu's students is provided along with a brief characterization of each one.
