It is a potentially fatal infection that often occurs as a primary pulmonary infection and after lymphohematogenous spread presents with cutaneous ulcerations. The authors report a case of disseminated blastomycosis that originally manifested as a cutaneous lesion rapidly turning into a chronic wound. |
