      ab: Introduction. In this empirical research we analyse the introduction of technology subjects offered by Spanish universities (public and private) through the Journalism / Communication graduate studies. Methodology. In the article we analyse, through the technique of content analysis, thirtyeight degree study plans out of a universe of more than one thousand nine hundred subjects. Results. The research discloses interesting findings, like implementations and emerging technologies are being reflected in the designs of current curricula in Spain. Conclusions. We also indicate which are the Spanish universities with the highest credit load and number of subjects offered in terms of technology.
