Therefore, it is important to determine the relationship between BMI and percentage of total body fat. Objectives: Objectives of the study were to find out and determine the correlation between Body Mass Index and postural changes in postmenopausal women. Method: This was an observational study with 40 subjects as a sample. subjects were selected as per inclusion and exclusion criteria. Inclusion criteria included female subjects of postmenopausal women in between age group 45 to 60 years. Subjects having an body mass index grading obese above > = 30 kg/m2 were excluded from study. Exclusion criteria were Presence of neurological diseases with balance alteration. Musculoskeletal disorders with deformity of lower extremities. History of lower limb or spine injuries or illness. Medication that can change balance sedative and hypnotic agent. Results: Statistical analysis of postural assessment chart stated that there is higher risk of obesity due to higher change of postural changes subjects of postmenopausal women. Conclusion: The study concluded that there are high problems of postural changes in postmenopausal women and there is high problem of obesity in postmenopausal women.
