      ab: Now a day even the Car parking has turned to be a matter of debate. Even the count of the vehicle can be well related with stars in the sky, and the other thing is we have only one moon and that is eventually our parking space. This made us to think of a smart parking lot for efficient parking activities. Here we have modelled an IoT based parking management system which yields an efficient way of parking vehicles. The model consists of IR sensors to monitor the parking slot's availability and is interfaced with DC motor to operate gate to open and close. To establish connectivity wifi modem is used and an AVR mc is used for operating the system. The model further consist an IOTGecko for internet connection and to establish an IOT management GUI design. With help of the IR sensor the model detects the availability of parking slots and the same is used to sense the presence of vehicle in the gate. The data from the IR sensor regarding the count of availability, it updates the count to the cloud server. This data can be used to check the availability for parking, by this model a good Machine to Human Interface HMI is achieved. By installing these way of parking model a great break through can be made to solve hectic problem in major cities. The device being built is a practical view of IoT. This device assisting the drivers for slot availability reduces a lot of time and the cloud data to produce an interface can be used in a Local pan or globally for multiple uses.
