| Sumario: | Taking responsibility for actions and their consequences is a major part of our moral practices and social relationships. Philosophers have thought about the conditions under which individuals are morally responsible for their behavior. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has challenged and changed our conceptions about moral responsibility because most theories are focused on human agents. Can moral responsibility be extended from human agents to their creations or shared between humans and their creations? This research helps identify the conditions when responsibility can be said to extend from agents to their creations or be shared between them. |
