| Sumario: | The purpose of this study is to develop an Adult Divorce Adaptation Scale (Adult DAS) which can be used in measurement studies of individuals' adaptation to divorce in the period of divorce. It is developed to employ to adults who has started a divorce process or legally divorced. Totally 234 adults, who has been divorced or in the divorce process, attended the scale development study. Structure and scale verifications have been used to define the verification of the scale. The results show that scale instrument, which has 5 likert, consists of 17 items and 3 factors. To interpret the scale, Pearson correlation factor calculated and the relation between Adult DAS and Psychological Strength Scale calculated as .73, the relation between Adult DAS and Satisfaction with Life Scale calculated as .73. In the reliability calculation, it was concluded that Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficients ranged from .84 to .87 for the sub-dimensions of the scale, and it was .90 for the entire scale. Validity and reliability studies have shown that the measurement tool is valid and reliable. Bu çalışmanın amacı, boşanma sürecindeki bireylerin boşanmaya uyum düzeylerini ölçmek amacıyla kullanılabilecek bir ölçek geliştirmektir. Yetişkin Boşanmaya Uyum Ölçeği (Yetişkin BUÖ), yasal boşanma süreci başlayan veya yasal olarak boşanmış yetişkinlere uygulanmak amacıyla geliştirilmiştir. Ölçek geliştirme çalışmasına boşanmış veya boşanma aşamasında olan toplam 234 yetişkin katılmıştır. Ölçeğin geçerliliğini belirlemek için yapı ve ölçüt geçerliliği çalışmaları yapılmıştır. Analiz sonuçları, 5'li likert derecelendirmeye sahip ölçme aracının 17 madde ve 3 boyuttan oluştuğunu göstermiştir. Ölçüt geçerliği için Yetişkin BUÖ ile Psikolojik Sağlamlık Ölçeği arasındaki ilişki .73, Yetişkin BUÖ ile Yaşam Doyumu Ölçeği arasındaki ilişki ise .73 olarak bulunmuştur. Güvenirlik hesaplamasında ölçeğin alt boyutları için Cronbach'ın alfa güvenirlik katsayılarının .84 ile .87 arasında değiştiği, ölçeğin tümü için ise .90 olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Yapılan geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmaları ölçme aracının geçerli ve güvenilir olduğunu göstermektedir. |
