In this article, a French-Canadian conceptual model of nursing is described, then critiqued based on Chinn and Kramer's method of theoretical evaluation. Five documents were read iteratively as a means to identify the purposes, concepts, definitions, relationships, structure, and assumptions of this conceptual model. Then, as suggested by Chinn and Kramer, its clarity, simplicity, generality, accessibility, and importance are discussed.
