Sumario:The guiding principle of Philip Jenkins' I Fertility and Faith i is straightforward: Fertile societies tend to be more religious and religious societies are more fertile. Jenkins' conclusion is largely directed toward religious groups, with encouragement that low fertility does not mean a collapse in religion, but also poses the challenge that some religions will be better equipped to cope with these changes than others. After traveling around the world in this book, Jenkins concludes that if religion is to thrive, it has to adjust to the reality of a low-fertility world and its cultural, political, and economic implications.
