| Sumario: | This article focuses on mapping and technology. Networks of information are becoming complex, increasingly interwoven, and increasingly smart. Google and Yahoo searches are viewed through a particular set of constraints called the "browser." But there are alternative software programs that do searches just like Google or Yahoo, while choosing to display the source code differently to create a different experience. The designer of such a software program, like many a good artist, is challenging preconceived ideas of the browser, and perhaps also the function of art and even the role of the museum.
