ab: In this epilogue for the Clinicians and Researchers Navigating Implementation Science in CSD forum, we begin by summarizing the eight articles in this forum that describe where the field is in terms of published implementation science (IS) articles in communication sciences and disorders (CSD) and how numerous teams have begun incorporating IS into their research programs. We then situate these articles across three themes: (1) levels of analysis and support; (2) research methods, frameworks, and models; and (3) underserved populations. Next, we consider the challenges and opportunities for conducting IS in CSD. Finally, we conclude by offering tangible steps for researchers, department heads, clinicians, patients, organizations/administrators, and funders in doing and supporting IS research in CSD.
