The authors of the above-mentioned article published in the International Journal of Audiology have identified errors in the reported analysis (relating to the inclusion of data that should have been excluded) which impact the validity of the findings. The authors have, therefore, requested that the article be retracted. We have been informed in our decision-making by our policy on publishing ethics and integrity and the COPE guidelines on retractions.
