Sumario:Keeble's article strives to reorient this historical debate by suggesting that Oliphant, like Rotblat, was similarly a "keeper of the nuclear conscience". Our first general issue for the year once again demonstrates the vitality of Australian studies, exploring topics that range from 1970s feminist activism to postcolonial soundscapes and Cold War intrigues. Given the looming nuclear threat in Europe, Kathryn Keeble's article - "General Groves's "Inevitable War with Russia": Joseph Rotblat's and Mark Oliphant's Existential Crises" - seems very timely.
