ab: I Neuroqueer Heresies: Notes on the Neurodiversity Paradigm, Autistic Empowerment, and Postnormal Possibilities i by Dr. Nick Walker, published in late 2021 by Autonomous Press, is a cutting-edge look at the neurodiversity paradigm and its emergent implications through a radical lens that emphasizes creatively subverting norms, undoing internalized conditioning, and wholeheartedly trusting one's embodied experience. Walker's writing is incredibly lucid and digestible, and though one can breeze from cover to cover quite swiftly, the depth of the material warrants extended contemplation and reflection. This material is timely and so vital for our world right now, so one can only hope that this book finds its way more and more into the mainstream and that Walker soon puts forth more new work on the I Neuroqueer i website and in the future publications.
