Sumario:The article reports that the Canadian fiction published in 2020 is a heterogeneous lot although the books that could be called historical novels do not number more than usual as all of the fiction feels curiously historical and it was mostly written before the hammer blow of COVID-19. Topics include considered the works range from very broad issues of social import overwhelming forces such as financial collapse, racial orders and environmental degradation.
