| Sumario: | The article is devoted to the philosophical understanding of human consciousness, in particular, mythological consciousness. A special space-temporal continuum, which contains myth and mythological consciousness, is analyzed. The research methodology provides clear definitions of «myth», «mythology», «mythological consciousness», etc. In modern Ukrainian religious studies, there are no methodological approaches to the study of mythological consciousness, which is also a feature of the 21st century. The main task of the article is to characterize the mythological consciousness, which contains specific time and space, in their unity. The results of the research are the revealed basic provisions regarding myth, mythology, time-space, as well as a variety of philosophical searches at different stages of the formation of humanity. The conclusion is that a myth is a conceptualization, i.e., a process of intellectual coding of ideas that highlight certain cultural meanings, meanings, and images. Special attention is paid to the unity of space and time in mythological consciousness, the unity of the profane and the sacred in myth. Mythmaking is a feature of the 21st century - «myth about the country», «myth about man», «myth about the world system», etc.
