| Summary: | This paper presents the work of Christ for the redemption of all creation, noticing how God made our salvation possible. In order to achieve this goal, we will look at the analogy between Adam (the old creation) and Christ (the new creation). This typological relationship outlines the principle of representation in Romans 5:12-21. From a methodological point of view, we propose to approach the Epistle to the Romans 5:12-21 and analyze the pattern it unfolds. Our working method involves three components. Firstly, we will deal with the framing and structure of this text studied in the broader context of the book; secondly, we will outline some exegetical aspects regarding the text; and finally, we will present the application of the theme highlighted by the text.
