Description
Summary:This article focuses on Application-centric, edge-cloud, collaborative intelligence, also referred to as Application-centric ECCI or ACE, platforms which would allow for the development and deployment of intelligent applications. Topics include five principles for design of these platforms which include the integrative nature of these platforms, the requirement for both collaborative and autonomous ability of applications in both edge and cloud computing, component orchestration, in-app control, and application workload support flexibility. A discussion of each individual component of these ACE platforms is also included.
