Also, there are a lot of interests in establishing the service delivery system of rehabilitation exercise for the disabled in South Korea. However, the establishment of the service delivery system of rehabilitation exercise and sports for the elderly is relatively insufficient (Cho, 2020). Therefore, we conducted a conceptual exploration regarding the service delivery system of rehabilitation exercise and sports for activation of rehabilitation exercise and sports technology with the elderly in South Korea. Methods Keywords were selected and searched in 'elderly', 'disabled', 'rehabilitation exercise', 'physical therapy', 'rehabilitation therapy', 'rehabilitation', 'exercise', 'sports', 'rehabilitation sports', 'disabled sports', 'elderly sports', 'service', 'delivery system'. A conceptual review was conducted on the service delivery system of rehabilitation exercise and sports for the elderly and the disabled. Results and Discussion There was no difference between the elderly and the disabled on the concept of the service delivery system of rehabilitation exercise and sports, leading to rehabilitation, therapeutic (rehabilitation) exercise, rehabilitation sports, and sports for all. However, the service delivery system of rehabilitation exercise and sports for the disabled is based on individual laws in South Korea, while the service delivery system of rehabilitation exercise and sports for the elderly is perceived as a part of the sports for all categories. Thus there are required to improve the social awareness and the legal basis for the establishment of the service delivery system of rehabilitation exercise and sports with the elderly.
