The practical implementation of the methods can however be challenging and some groups are many times excluded from co-creation processes. At the Department of caring science at Äbo Akademi University, co-creation methods have been applied in several projects and the practical implementation of the methods is described in this article. In presenting the method application, focus was placed on the degree of participation of the co-creating partners in different project phases. The project experiences illustrate the added value of the methods in relation to the generated products and services, but also challenges in implementing co-creation methods. The experiences contribute to the growing knowledge field regarding the expedient and ethical application of co-creation methods. Delaktighet och samskapande metoder utgör verktyg för utvecklingen av hällbara och behov-sprövade innovationer inom social- och hälso-omrädet. Den praktiska tillämpningen av meto-derna medför dock utmaningar och en del grupper lämnas ofta utanför de samskapande pro-cesserna. Vid Enheten för värdvetenskap vid Äbo Akademi har samskapande metoder tilläm-pats i flera projekt och den praktiska implemen-teringen av metoderna beskrivs i denna artikel. Vid presentationen av metodens tillämpning läggs fokus pä graden av delaktighet i den samskapande processens olika faser. Projekterfaren-heterna illustrerar metodens mervärde i förhäl-lande till de genererade produkterna och tjäns-terna, men även utmaningarna vid tillämpning-en av samskapande metoder.
