The aim of this work is to make an approach to eight compositions cultivated by different Valencian lyricists, which revolve around the event that shocked the city of Valencia on Tenth of November of one thousand eight hundred ninety-seven, the overflowing of the Turia river. Al s. xix, en català, gràcies a les possibilitats que permeté la Renaixença, es composen un conjunt de poemes al voltant dels estralls produïts per distints fenòmens naturals.
