The study of Russell's reaction to Robb exposes shortcomings in Russell's own philosophy of time, which has been extremely influential through the years. It also highlights the philosophical differences between Minkowski and Robb, the shared idealistic premises of Russell and McTaggart, and the confluences between the views of Russell, Eddington and McTaggart.
