This article investigates Louva Deusas ' use of eroticism to challenge conservatism and the constraints imposed on black women's bodies and sexuality. The collective uses independent literature to represent these constraints, particularly through Carolina Maria de Jesus's metaphor of the quarto de despejo while imagining a beyond to this space. As sexuality itself, Além dos quartos enacts political engagement in relation to the changes that took place toward the end of the Worker's Party government. I analyze Louva Deusas ' efforts to blacken sexuality as well as their publication's use of transnational black feminist theory. This article also shows how new generations of black women authors are benefiting from Miriam Alves's pioneering work in representing black female sexuality. Em 2015, o coletivo feminista de escritoras negras Louva Deusas publicou sua segunda coletânea de poesia erótica: Além dos quartos: coletânea erótica negra Louva Deusas. Este artigo investiga o uso que as Louva Deusas fazem do erotismo para desafiar o conservadorismo e as amarras sociais que se impõem sobre os corpos e a sexualidade das mulheres negras. O coletivo recorre à literatura independente para representar essas amarras através da metáfora do quarto de despejo criada por Carolina Maria de Jesus enquanto imagina um além. Como a própria sexualidade, Além dos quartos é um livro político e dialoga com o contexto de mudanças do fim do governo petista. Analiso os esforços das Louva Deusas para enegrecer as conversas sobre sexualidade no Brasil através do pioneirismo de Miriam Alves ao tratar da sexualidade feminina negra e das escolhas teóricas de textos feministas negras do grupo.
