Advances in technology have benefited patients with a range of disabilities. The use of assistive technology in low vision has provided additional devices, programs, and resources to help visually impaired patients perform ADLs, gain independence, and improve quality of life. Case Report: A 75-year-old male with advanced glaucoma presented to the Low Vision Clinic with a chief complaint of difficulty reading his Bible. He also reported distance vision blur. Assistive technology low vision devices, which provided magnification and contrast enhancement, helped him to reach his visual goals. Conclusion: Assistive technology low vision devices can help patients to achieve their visual needs and goals when traditional hand and stand magnifiers do not bring these patients to goal acuity.
