| Sumario: | Purpose. To investigate the demographic pattern and predictors for successful employment outcomes among Native American (NA) clients in public vocational rehabilitation programs between the program years (PY) 2017-2019 in the United States. Method. The researchers completed descriptive analyses to provide a breakdown of the demographic variables, primary and secondary disability, source of referral, and medical coverage. We also examined the factors related to barriers to employment for Native Americans as well as the most frequent VR employment services used and the effectiveness of each for successful employment. Lastly, we used the Exhaustive CHAID data mining method to determine which of the VR services could be the strongest predictors to successful employment for Native Americans. Results. Results showed that in total 77.7% of individuals who received rehabilitation technology were employed after leaving the program.
