| Sumario: | Objective: To explore the status quo of psychological capital in patients with breast cancer and analyze its influencing factors, so as to provide evidence for promoting the mental health of patients with breast cancer. Methods: From August 2021 to May 2022, 428 breast cancer patients were randomly selected from 3 tertiary grade A hospitals in Tangshan. General Data Questionnaire, Positive Psychological Capital Questionnaire, Social Limitation Scale, Breast Cancer Patients Psychosocial Adjustment Questionnaire were used to investigate. Results: The total score of Positive Psychological Capital Questionnaire in breast cancer patients was 120.15±12.29. The random forest algorithm showed that when lambda (λ) was 0.897 8, the error was the smallest, and the corresponding number of influencing factors was 6. The top six independent variables in the order of importance were cancer adaptation, family per capita monthly income, residence, education level, social restrictions, and medical insurance. The results of multiple step-based regression analysis showed that the psychological capital of breast cancer patients was influenced by cancer adaptation, family per capita monthly income and social restriction (P<0.05). Conclusion: The psychological capital level of breast cancer patients is low, clinical medical staff can enhance the positive psychological resources of breast cancer patients by improving their adaptation level, increasing their economic reserves and strengthening their social support system.
