Se trata de una obra coral construida en forma de una sucesión de cuatro monólogos en los que sendas mujeres rememoran su experiencia vital. A lo largo de este proceso, todas ellas, africanas o afropeas, van indagando en los elementos del pasado sobre los que se construye su situación actual como mujeres en el continente africano.
