ab: The phenomenon of religion occupies an important area in human life. The phenomenon of religion has had an important place in social life with its power to ensure unity and solidarity among its believers. However, as a result of social, economic and political movements around the world, the concept of religion, like many other concepts, has been affected by these changes. As a result of social changes with global impact such as the Renaissance, reform, nationalism movement, and industrial revolution, the phenomenon of religion, which was highly visible in the public sphere and daily life in the past, lost its visibility over time and became a more individual, personal value. For this reason, many different ideas have been put forward based on the unifying power of religion and on the basis of culture and common history that will ensure social unity based on this power. The first of these is the idea of Cultural Nationalism under the main title of Turkism, founded by Ziya Gökalp, and another is the idea of Civil Religion systematised by Robert Bellah.
