Galí copies fragments of the famous Summari by Andreu Bosch (Perpignan, 1628), remembers his dreams, provides information about his village, his contemporaries, his daily life, and certain political events that concern him. He offers us a series of original and heterogeneous information that allows us to observe his nascent literacy process between Catalan language and culture on the one hand and administrative writing in French on the other. Escampats en folis blancs, cobertes o marges per tots els llibres sagramentals de l'època moderna anterior, els apunts de Joan Pere Galí, jornaler de Montferrer (Vallespir) i agent municipal sota el Directori i el Consolat no són cap dietari ni crònica, però sí unes notes curioses que expliquen prou coses del seu autor i el món que l'envolta. Galí copia fragments del famós Summari d'Andreu Bosch, (Perpinyà, 1628), recorda els seus somnis, proporciona informacions sobre el seu poble, els seus coetanis, la vida de cada dia i uns fets polítics que el preocupen.
