It is noted that, with respect to the previous century, the most relevant changes occurred in the field of consumption and dissemination.
        A partir de l'afirmació que l'assaonador Miquel Parets fa en el seu diari d'autoconsiderarse entès en «istòrias», s'exploren les causes i les vies de l'expandiment del coneixement del discurs històric en la societat catalana del Barroc. Es remarca que, respecte la centúria anterior, els canvis més rellevants es van produir en el terreny del consum i de la divulgació.
