| Summary: | The article identifies possible worlds with certain kinds of sets. The point of the present paper is to highlight the role that interpretation plays in the linguistic ersatzist's theory of possible worlds and, especially, to show how the ersatzist can adopt a form of counterpart theory. Using the empty set and sets constructed from it, one can find enough sets to represent all of the real numbers. An ordered triple of numbers can be interpreted as a coordinate representing a location in space, a quadruple as representing a location in spacetime, and, in general, any n-tuple as representing a location in an n-dimensional manifold.
