Sumario:The article reports that HarperCollins Publishers Inc. (HC) might be ending its attempts to build literary imprint Fourth Estate as a U.S. brand. Reports in the U.S. have claimed that HarperCollins is planning the closure of its standalone U.S. imprint Fourth Estate, and folding its titles into other imprints. The global chief executive Jane Friedmann of HC has recently launched the "Publishing+" initiative, an internal growth strategy aimed at bringing the company together and exploiting the HC brand. HC has 23 general book imprints in the U.S., including Ecco, William Morrow and Eos.
