| Sumario: | The article presents information on the book stocks and services provided by London libraries. The right balance between books, audiovisual stock and People's Network computers remains hard to strike for library professionals. Every library (Westminster Reference Library excepted) provided audiovisual product, and every library had a good selection of newspapers and magazines. Significantly, every library offered terminals with free access to the Internet — the majority even having extra computers devoted to booking the other terminals for online access. The library is split over three levels with a café on the first floor and a remarkable jungle-themed children's library on the ground floor.
