| Sumario: | The article presents the report of the representative of the American Economic Association to the U.S. National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) for 1976. Staff projects in 1975 and 1976 were in these areas: computer algorithms for applied economic and management research, including mathematical programming, exploratory data analysis, modeling, and econometrics; measurement of economic and social performance, including national accounting, price indexes, productivity, employment, inflation, and business cycle indicators. Conferences on Research in Income and Wealth in 1975 dealt with The Economics of Residential Location and Urban Housing Markets, and with New Developments in Productivity Measurement. The NBER and the Bureau of the Census were co-sponsors of a conference on Seasonal Analysis of Economic Time Series held in September 1976. For 1975-76 NBER Faculty Research Fellowships were awarded to Donald O. Parsons of Ohio State University and David L. Rubinfeld of the University of Michigan.
