Sumario:The article reports that British publishers and librarians are discovering that working together can be mutually beneficial. Public libraries and publishers are forging a new relationship as part of an initiative to promote books and authors more effectively through the public library system. Publishers and librarians met on a field trip to Chesterfield libraries last year and again, in mid-January 2005, at a discussion forum in Birmingham. Some publishers on the field trip admitted to being very occasional visitors to libraries.
